Bracket Challenge – Final Four for Best Sitcom

It all comes down to this… one two more rounds of voting to determine the best sitcom of all time – and this is where it starts to get crazy as we meet shows from different genres for the first time.

Buckle up. These are hard.

Bracket Challenge – Sweet 16

We’re into the sweet 16 sitcoms on our quest to find the greatest sitcom. There are some mismatches and a few that might cause you to lose sleep. Vote early and often. You’ve got two days.

S01E27 – Freaks and Geeks Episode 4 – Kim Kelly is My Friend

Back into the F&G episodes and this one wasn’t actually aired by NBC – which isn’t a good sign if it’s the fourth episode of your series. We look at Episode 4 where Kim Kelly might be a friend, but with friends like that, who needs enemies? Before you throw away all of your Tonka trucks, make sure you listen to this episode!

Chris and Chris look each week at a television program that never made it to the second season. Come join us every Tuesday!

We are on Stitcher, iTunes, Pocket Casts, and Google Play. If there’s a podcast app you want us on, let us know! If you have a moment also, please rate and review us on your favorite podcast platform.

Bracket Challenge Update

We’re finishing up our second round to get down to the Field of 16. Voting will end on Tuesday.

You can always get an up to date look at the bracket by going here.

Bracket Challenge

We move now to our second round matchups in the 90’s and 70’s regions. Voting up until 3/30 morning.

S01E26 – Sitcom Bracket – 2000’s

Sophie’s choice. That’s all I can say here. Sophie’s goddamned choice. Good luck.

S01E25 – Sitcom Bracket – 90’s

Continuing on with our Greatest Sitcom bracket (you can see full results here) – today, we’re looking at the 1990’s.

Voting open until March 24 and then we’ll start on our final bracket!

S01E24 – Freaks and Geeks Episode 3 – Tricks & Treats

We’ve got a very scary episode of the podcast this week as we throw a few eggs, break a few rules and settle the age old question, what’s the worst Halloween candy? We also determine if Chris has ever worn women’s clothing before as well as we give a detailed definition of when we became men. We cover the Halloween episode of Freaks and Geeks but we won’t leave you with your creepy dad in his Vampire costume.

Chris and Chris look each week at a television program that never made it to the second season. Come join us every Tuesday!

S01E23 – Greatest Sitcoms – 80’s Bracket

We continue with our bracket to determine the greatest sitcom of all time. (Prime time, 30 minute shows that ran from 1970-2009.)

We turn our focus now to the era of the 1980’s. You have two days to vote and the winners move onto the field of 32.

You can vote through Twitter – your voting and results are below! Vote wisely!

S01E22 – What is the Greatest Sitcom? Let’s Decide

Friends? Bob Newhart? ALF? Scrubs?

What is the greatest 30 minute sitcom? In the spirit of March Madness, Season 1 Podcast in cooperation with RamblingMorons.com is hoping to find out.

Every few days, we’ll be releasing a bracket divided by decade. Tonight, we start with the 1970’s a decade featuring the golden era of the laugh track sitcom (filmed in front of a live studio audience, naturally.)

Follow us at @season1pod to vote for each of the eight matchups.

We will also be posting a podcast handicapping each region as well as the results. (We’ll also continue our look at Freaks and Geeks, don’t worry.)

So now’s a great time to subscribe to our podcast, follow us on Twitter, and start voting!!
